Club Guidelines

We want everyone attending Candle Dances to have a great time in a comfortable, secure environment. For the benefit of all guests, here are some basic guidelines. Please take a moment to review this helpful information to familiarize yourself with the behavior we expect at our functions. Thanks so much for your interest and cooperation!

 

The number one rule…"No means No!" If someone is not comfortable with something, they have the right to say no and you must respect their wishes.

When you arrive at the dance, please do not spend an unnecessary amount of time in the parking lot. There is no need to attract unwanted attention to our private party.

No audio or video recording devices are permitted. No cameras are permitted other than authorized photographers for special occasions; only those giving permission will be photographed. Please leave your cell phone cameras elsewhere!

We have a VERY reasonable cash bar at our dances. You cannot BYOB. Anyone found bringing their own liquor into the dance risks expulsion.

Absolutely no drugs are allowed inside the building, in the parking lot or at the hotel at any time.

Anyone behaving in a violent or disrespectful manner to any guest of the club or the staff will be asked to leave and will be banned from future events.

Discretion is critical to our guests and staff. If at any time any member should be found to have disclosed information about the club or any of its members to any non-lifestyle third party, they will not be permitted to attend future dances.

Candle Dances begin at 8:30 pm and we usually lock the doors about 10 pm. If you cannot arrive by 10 pm for some reason, please contact us IN ADVANCE to make arrangements to have someone open the door for you. Please do your best to arrive in a timely manner.

We recommend that you do not bring valuable items to the dances as we cannot be responsible if you lose something. However, if you do lose anything, please notify one of the Candle staff immediately and we'll do our best to assist you.

We reserve the right to search bags, purses, etc. brought into the dances at any time for any items not permitted inside the building.

You must be at least 21 years of age to attend Candle Dances. Please be prepared to show your photo ID at the door for admittance.

We offer a hospitality/party suite for socializing after the dances. You MUST attend the dance to be admitted to our suite. You must be wearing your Candle wristband for admittance to this suite after the dances. Please do not invite outsiders to the hotel, as they will be stopped by our security. Please be respectful of all guests, as well as hotel property, and please dress appropriately in all public areas of the hotel.

Violators of any of the above guidelines will be expelled and banned from attending future events.

 

 

 

 

 

Please remember that we do not wish to have ANY public announcements about our parties and we wish to have only suitable people attending our parties. We want you to feel very safe, comfortable, and protected.  Our bywords are SAFETY, PRIVACY, and DISCRETION.

To avoid problems and to ensure that all members clearly understand their rights and obligations we want to tell you what this means.

1. The location of our parties, names of the party attendees, and their activities at the party must never be divulged to anyone!  Access to the membership list is strictly controlled and never given to anyone else.

2. You are not to discuss our parties in any place where others, not in the lifestyle, can overhear you.  You can describe our parties only in general terms to others in the lifestyle, to see if they might be interested in joining our group.

3. Access to the membership area of the web site is  strictly controlled and never the id and password is never given to anyone who is not a member.

4. Everyone who attends a party must be a member of our club or an NASCA affiliated club.  You are always welcome to sponsor an appropriate couple for membership review and screening.  Please contact us by leaving a message at (585) 334-8785 with your first name, phone number, and the best time to call you back.  After talking to you, and to them, we will extend a personal invitation to them by mail or phone based on your personal recommendation and responsibility and their suitability.  Until they get an invitation from us they are NOT eligible to attend.

5. All party attendees who are new to the lifestyle are asked to attend an orientation before attending a party.

6. You are not to disseminate our newsletters by any means (including letting others read it) nor are you to talk to any member of the press, radio, TV etc about our club.

7. You shouldn't expose yourself ( that means being scantly or provocatively dressed)  while walking through the hotel lobby or public areas.

8. If you arrive as a couple, you must leave as a couple.

9. No means No!  If you are rebuffed, take it with grace.  If you become insistent, you and your partner will be ejected immediately without a second warning.

10. You are not permitted to bring in alcohol when a cash bar is available.

Failure to comply with these policies is grounds for immediate termination of all membership privileges including attendance at any CandleLight Associates parties or associated events.  The party donations and membership fees are strictly used to provide the location, refreshments and cover administrative costs.  Checks are payable to Candle Light Associates, Inc..  There is a $20 returned check fee.  We do accept most major credit cards.  Parties can be cancelled because of lack of participation and refunds will be made.  Refunds for  no shows or last minute cancellations however will be made on a case by case basis.
