Before I start this review I do have to admit that I was very naďve when it came to Entice and the entire lifestyle. I have attended 2 Lifestyle events and neither of them could prepare me or my partner for what we had in store at Entice. This was the 5th annual Entice convention which was as large as I have ever seen one. On Wednesday night, although we did not attend, I heard stories that made me blush. The gist of it, was instead of packing up everyone and trying to battle traffic on the peace bridge to go to a strip club, the managers were wise enough to have the strippers cum to us. The talent that arrived could only be described as “OH MY GAWD!!!” or “THANK YOU JESUS!!!” Thursday brought even more guests to the convention, after a brief Welcome Orientation by seasoned Care Team members. Guests got busy with a Graffiti Meet and Greet that had everyone mixing it up and this years twist, Battle of the Sexes, This mix and mingle game pitted Boys VS Girls with the Ladies Cumming out on top! Thursday’s evening dance was a 40’s era motif - Chicago Blues. I must admit I was inspired and shocked by some of the outfits, who knew so many people would attend. Not to mention how free and happy everyone seemed. It was inspiring. I could not explain the semi-private tents in the corners which furnished with very comfortable seating, I could see that guests had no trouble putting the lounge space to good use!! The party rooms were hopping and you could choose from several rooms, I am not sure how to describe the motif’s of each room, except to say you have to see it to believe to believe it… OOOH what a Night !!! Friday more guests arrived and the party really got hot! Workshops on How to Strip for your Man, Bi Sexuality, Lifestyle discussions groups, and Tantra classes were offered, and well attended, I congratulate the 2 instructors of the Tantra class, who knew getting the room to breathe together would yield so many happy people. The Tighty Whities and Wet T shirt contests were as always hot, hot, hot… and I know that the winners were very excited…. The Friday Night Toga Party was preceded by a well MC’d Auction which benefited Hurricane Katrina victims, and a Candlelight sponsored Jamaican School. (and you only hear bad press about our lifestyle, if only they new how big our hearts are)… Some of the auctioned items were massages, pedicures and my favorite, a domination session. I hope all those who participated, not only in the services but the bidding as well, know how much their support is appreciated. I must say only at Entice can you find someone getting stripped and “togafied” in the main lobby. The music was pumping and the dance floor was packed all night… DJ Dan surely knew how to “rock the house”. Saturday was an amazingly busy day, with classes discussing topics from BDSM Electric Play and Couples Massage to Adult Travel Vacation possibilities rounding out the workshop schedule, Another Fundraiser was organized, called Porn for a Purpose. This consisted in attendees donating porn to be resold to attendee, with all proceeds to be donated to the Jamaican School, Candlelight Associates, Inc. sponsors. The Miss Entice NO Swimsuit Contest followed right behind, with 6 sexy gals all teasing our panel of judges, vying for the title and the trip to HEDO!!! I am trying to find a way for my partner to be a judge next year…. The things these women did with saran wrap, candy, and gauze could make anyone blush!!! Congrats to the winner and the runner up. Before and incredible dinner a Hilarious Toronto based comedian, had guest rolling out of their chairs. Dinner finished just in time for us to change for the “Red Carpet” Dance, As for The Saturday Night “Red Carpet” Costume Dance, all I can say it was AMAZING. All the costumes were thoughtful, original, & outstanding and “Bill and Monica” were joined by “Mr & Mrs Claus, and Mr and Mrs Abraham Lincoln” (to name a few) who knew they were in the lifestyle. The dance floor once again was full all night long and into the early morning. Getting to write this review is a fun way to re-live a wonderful time with an incredible bunch of people, and I must say I can not believe that a small group of people were able to pull off such a feat. Also attending this Convention were numerous “vendors” which had several rooms/tables which allowed you to purchase some really cool toys/pictures and/or costumes. Not to mention the great lingerie and shoe sales… The hotel staff went above and beyond to make everyone comfortable and provide all the towels and clean sheets that were needed (especially on toga night), and to answer never ending questions about the ball room, cafeteria, and sauna, as well as where is the casino, or which local restaurants delivered… having never attended other conventions, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the attendees, let alone the staff. All I can say is the staff really was happy to have us, and they were WONDERFUL!! Oh I can’t forget the Entice Care Team either, not only was this our first convention, it was our first time working on the Care Team, which was managed and staffed by the most incredible people… so helpful and patient, I really don’t know how they did it… I didn’t know that this year, there were a total of 6 Managers and numerous care team members who worked almost 400 hours in 4 days to make this year’s Entice experience happen. In addition to the great workshops, playrooms, dances and vendors, Entice offered a wonderful, friendly group of Lifestyle Couples who understand that Swinging is not something to be ashamed of, it is something to embrace and enjoy. After all, there is more to the lifestyle than sex, so much more that you can not put it all into words, it is an EXPERIENCE and Entice allows you to learn more about you, your partner and the whole Experience.
