Frequently Asked Questions Where's Batavia?? Batavia is between Rochester and Buffalo NY along the NYS Thruway, conveniently located between these two major cities Where do you meet in these cities? For discretion sake, we do not disclose (and we hope that our members do not disclose either) the location of our events until you make a reservation Do I have to make a reservation? You do not need to make a reservation if you are a card carrying member. However if you are new you of course will need to make a reservation so we can tell you the location Can I pay at the door? Yes for regular dances. However for special events, which are highlighted above in pink you MUST make an advance reservation and pay in advance. These are normally sold out events and advanced reservations are necessary to reserve your party place! What time does it start? Dances start at 8:30 In Batavia, we host a meet and greet in the hotel bar from 7 -8 pm. Stop by and say hello and meet some new friends Special events start times are posted separately What do we wear? This is your chance to wear something you would not wear to your local PTA function. Dress as risqué as your personality will let you. Most dress in layers and those layers are reveled as they get more comfortable. Dressing in theme is always fun. Men - you can dress up too. What is the cost? NEW PRICES FOR 2008 Regular dances will be just $20 per member couple - a member couple is a couple with a membership card. (YOU MUST SHOW THE CARD TO GET THE RATE!)
